Description

It is a puzzle-type game based on the popular Tetris released in 1984, designed and programmed by the Russian Aleksei Pázhitnov, a version that came out in its day for our Amstrad PCW in 1987.

Tetris is a game that has been released for practically all kinds of video game consoles, operating systems, calculators, mobile phones, players, etc. In January 2010 it was announced that Tetris had sold over 100 million mobile units, in 2007 over 70 million copies and ranked second in the top 100 games of all time.

In this replica called “SquareX”, we will find a wide variety of figures that will fall from the top of the screen. The figures can be moved from left to right and rotated before they fall to the ground. We will have to create horizontal rows and when these are completed, they will automatically disappear from the screen.

The objective is to make as many rows as possible without leaving gaps, since the gaps speed up the screen to quickly overload with figures and reach the top of the screen causing us to lose the game. Here we will have to put all our reflexes and intelligence to endure as much as possible on the same screen.
