Martech Games Ltd was a video game publisher active from 1982 to 1989.

Martech was formed by David Martin and his brother-in-law John Barry, initially under the name of Software Communications Ltd in partnership with an exporter's company, British Overseas and Export Trading based in London. They were initially based at Bay Terrace, Pevensey Bay, East Sussex. BN24 6EE.

David, a chemistry teacher and board game designer, started programming with the school computers and started programming on a ZX Spectrum at home. This hobby eventually turned into a budding job, with software duplicating and shipping all done from home.

The first games were based on David's experience in board games: Conflict on the ZX Spectrum and The Quest of Merravid on the Commodore 64, for example. When David was unable to improve his coding skills due to his role as manager of the company, additional programmers were hired, starting with Ian McArdle and shortly thereafter John Edginton. Malcom Smith later joined Ian and John as a part-time graphic designer in the small office they rented in Brighton's Old Steine.

Ian worked on several noteworthy Martech games; those with licensed content such as Eddie Kidd's Jump Challenge and Brian Jacks Superstar Challenge on ZX Spectrum. John, in turn, wrote the Amstrad CPC versions of Brian Jacks Superstar Challenge, Zoids - the Battle Begins (Chris Fayers wrote the ZX Spectrum version) and WAR.

In 1988 David Martin founded Emerald Software Ltd with Mike Dixon.

In 1989 the Martech label became known as Screen 7.
