+Classic Invaders is the oldest Martian game that we know of, the classic one, the first that was seen in the arcade machines and now it is back in the PCW`s, however, for many people the best, or at least the most entertaining .
+There was a time when almost every arcade was filled with the constant beeps and explosions from row after row of these mean little greens. It's interesting to play again after all these years and realize how addictive it still is. There's something strangely satisfying about moving the laser base along the bottom of the screen, shooting down the descending aliens.
+The game does not really impress at all, its simplicity becomes spartan and it is not possible to count on the incentives that could perhaps disguise the impression of "little thing" that could be offered on other computers (color, sound, ...). But ... not all is said. Despite this Classic Invaders is entertaining. On the other hand, the level of difficulties of this game is quite reasonable, which will at least prevent the just attacks of anger that assail us with certain programs.
+It was always a favorite of new home computers, if only because it was easy to program. This certainly didn't give your programmers too many sleepless nights. All it takes is a horizontally moving missile base, rows of invaders throwing rocks or fireballs at you or whatever the invaders throw at Earthlings, and a collision routine.
+The objective of the game, as everyone will suppose, is limited to kill little Martians, the more the merrier, before they manage to reach our height. It is advisable to start clearing them either on the right or on the left, since that way the route they have to do before descending is longer. Once you have finished with all of them the game starts again with a higher difficulty level.
+The objective is to destroy the incoming invaders with your laser base. You must avoid the bombs by moving from left to right and hiding under the shelters. When you've destroyed a full screen of invaders, another more difficult screen will appear. Your performance is measured by a scoring system that is displayed at the top of the screen. You will receive extra points for hitting the mothership that appears from time to time at the top of the screen.
+You initially have three lives and will be awarded an extra life for every 10,000 points earned.
+The game ends when the invaders land or when all their lives have expired.
+As is typical of this type of video game, in the bottom line we have walls where we can protect ourselves from enemy shots and at the same time, if we open a hole, shoot them with less risk. One of the problems we find in the game is that we cannot move and shoot simultaneously.
+The graphics of this arcade are very simple, everything is really simple in Classic Invaders, it is well planned in terms of difficulty, with the invasion force getting faster and faster as it gets closer to the ground, but the level of addiction it is quite acceptable. You can play well and calmly. It is not a fast game.
