+Daatafax is a personal organizer. It can be used with the mouse from the same company Kempstone.
+After the resurgence of programs with the aim of replacing the traditional agendas-telephone book-notebook, few could boast of achieving it. However, Daatafax's approach goes even further, since it does not try to replace anyone, but to be a complement.
+In Daatafax we can distinguish two parts, let's say the "hardware" and the "software".
+**The software**
+The software is supplied, of course, on a three-inch diskette. After loading the CP/M, we have to insert this floppy into drive A and type Daatafax, then press RETURN. As simple as that,
+Quickly we find a first screen in which we observe the drawing of an agenda and a box in which we must enter the date. Once this is done, we go to the screen in which we can call the "main menu", in which we have the agenda closed and a series of icons that represent functions and that allow us to "open" the agenda and operate with it. The main functions are calendar, phone book, daily planner and notepad, which together with the option to leave the program complement the main menu.
+Choosing a function is something as simple as pressing a function key (the icons occupy a position on the screen analogous to that of their corresponding function keys on the keyboard), or the EXIT key to leave the program. This system of keys is extended to the options available within each function, with which, with the keys in function STOP and RETURN, practically everything can be done. In this way, after a few work sessions, it is easy to control the program. Also, if you have a Kempston mouse, it's even great, since the program recognizes the mouse directly, and then choosing an option becomes pointing the mouse cursor at the icon and pressing one of its buttons.

+Here is the difference with most programs of this type. In addition to the diskette, we are given an agenda with a special continuous paper. Daatafax's philosophy is that we have both the computerized agenda and the paper agenda. In each function of the agenda there is a printing option that allows us to transfer the phones, or the calendar, or the daily planning to this special paper, and said paper is prepared so that it can be placed very easily in the rings of the agenda. .
+Obviously, in addition to choosing features and options, you need to be able to enter text comfortably. This has also been foreseen when designing Daatafax, and both in the "phonebook" mode and in the "daily agenda" mode and in the "notepad" we use an editing area of a little less than half a vertical screen, with the option to a spare area to facilitate the movement and copying of blocks of text.
+In this editing area we can put and remove tabs, insert text, insert lines, delete lines, and copy, cut and move blocks.
+In the "phone book" function there is also a text search mode, which facilitates the task of locating a person by their name, or their address, or in general by any data that appears associated with it.
